Dr Barry - The Lead All-on-4^® Dentist & Owner of Next Smile Wollongong

Dr Barry Phelan is the leading dentist at the Next Smile™ Wollongong clinic. Dr Barry has taken a particular interest in restorative and implant dentistry and travelled worldwide to study with the opinion leaders in the field, including All-on-4^® pioneer Dr Paulo Malo.

Dr Barry graduated with honours from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in 2004 and worked in a private dental practice in London before seeking sunnier shores in Australia in 2006. Here, his

interest in implant dentistry only grew. Since 2013 he has completed almost 1000 dental implants.

Passionate about keeping up with the latest techniques in implantology and restorative dentistry, he decided to join the Next Smile™ family. Knowing that it has the potential to transform people’s lives, self-esteem and smiles, he is now bringing the renowned All-on-4^® treatment concept to Wollongong.

Amongst Dr Barry’s achievements is a fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the largest international implantology organisation in the world. He is also a fellow of the Misch International Implant Institute and a member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID).
